Review of Steve Jobs (2015) by Lanre O — 22 Nov 2015
It's hard to not equate this film to "The Social Network," since both stories are told by the same screenwriter. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing. No, it doesn't have the same "wow" factor as its equally technical and complex 2010 predecessor, but both main characters are equally dynamic, innovative, and, often times, dislikable - which is a testament to how well both characters are played.
Unlike the previous "Jobs" film, this iteration doesn't hold back in portraying the more difficult sides of the former Apple CEO. Yet somehow, it seems to paint a much more authentic picture of who he really was.
