I finally saw "Steve Jobs", and felt like the title should of been "Apple's Steve Jobs". I felt this movie only touched on a very small part of his life, and his vision. There were missing key characters including his beautiful wife Laurene.

and their three children...Lisa was not his only child, though she suffered due to the controversy he created by denying paternity...Laurene was his wife for 20 years...there were other people in his life that were left out or just not included in this film.

I appreciate the risk this film took to portray Steve as an icon that was difficult, focused stubborn, & needed control. It was within his power to stand by his vision despite all the obstacles that tried to tell him he was wrong.

He really loved the products he was creating. It was really important to him how the consumer felt, and if he had created something that helped make their lives better. He was relentless. He made sacrifices to keep his vision pure.

Steve certainly had issues about being adopted because of the events that took place in his life that shaped him into who he became. These emotional roots can't be ignored as they shape us, and define us.

Michael Fassbender was brilliant as Steve Jobs as he knew very little about him, yet gave a passionate portrayal that made you feel like you were seeing Steve for the first time...the sad thing is the movie didn't focus on Steve's personal life, the entire time you are going from event to event where Steve is launching a product or making an announcement, so you are only seeing him when he is at work & becoming the persona that people identify with as being him.

It made him hard to relate to, because you didn't see the mysterious life he lived behind the curtains, behind closed doors...and this may have been the balance we needed to have a much clearer picture of who he was.

..this is a good film, but I felt that it was only a very small chapter of who Steve Jobs was, and I think that we may never know everything about him...and that is okay....but remember what you are seeing in the film is only a small peek at a few moments of his life, and only during stressful presentations & events.

...not Steve at home with his kids and wife...I heard he walked his kids to school...this new fact shows a much different side to Steve, but this was not part of the story in this film...I would have loved to see him with his family and kids.

..and by the way, Lisa moved in with Steve & Laurene while she was in high school...and this movie made it seem like her reunion with her dad happened later...I am a bit confused to why they took such liberties with his life without recognizing key people outside of Joanna Hoffman.

..great performances and a really good film...but it is still only about a few days of his life...and for everyone that he listened to...just know someone realizes that like the Apple II, your name never made it to the credits.
