Review of Steve Jobs (2015) by Silence D — 20 Feb 2016
This is a captivating movie from beginning to end. Starting at a bustling pace and never stopping to slow down, it is one of the best movies of the year and its a shame it didn't get more Academy recognition. With Academy Award winning worthy performances by Michael Fassbender and Kate Winslet, it benefits also from tremendous performances by Michael Stuhlbarg and Perla Haney-Jardine. The direction is impeccable from director Danny Boyle. But as good as everything gets, nothing gets better than Aaron Sorkin's Screenplay. The dialogue is the one of the best of the century. It is a crime that he didn't get an Academy.
Nomination. But all in all, my favorite movie of 2015.
