Review of Steve Jobs (2015) by Mee J — 01 Apr 2016
The most beautiful thing about Steve Jobs is that it isn't really about Steve Jobs. I mean, of course it's about Steve Jobs, but it's obvious Aaron Sorkin is playing fast and loose with the man and his legacy to spin a compelling yarn about a brilliant dickhead/asshole with an attachment disorder more than willing to alienate anyone and everyone close to him to achieve his uncompromising vision.
It's a great character study, and the film's unique structure (three segments, set before the launch of 3 separate products) keeps it from being a bread and butter biopic.
