Review of Steve Jobs (2015) by Tyler R — 01 Oct 2016
There is reason to take notice when Aaron Sorkin has the writing credit. And with Steve Jobs, Sorkin decides to give us a look at Jobs, but in the lead up to three launches. This is an interesting approach, and one that gives the main players great arcs throughout the film.
Marry this with Boyle's fine tuned directing and a stellar cast, and you have something special. Michael Fassbender turns in an incredible performance, and watching him peel away the layers of Jobs is fascinating to watch, particularly towards the end, and especially in a scene between him and Seth Rogen's Wozniak.
Overall, this was a unique film, but one that shows true skill from all involved.
