Review of Stepmom (1998) by Mario D — 16 Sep 2009
Although most people think this is a chick flick, after actually watching it, I found out its not. It's actually very emotional, and it's a very good story line. It's just a bit too sad towards the end.
SPOILER: this is about a woman who is divorced and developed cancer she cannot recover from. She finds out that her ex-husband is getting remarried and becomes upset because she doesn't want anyone else taking care of her kids.
Towards the middle of the movie, they start to warm up to each other (the mom and the stop mom). Its pretty heartwarming. Overall, I give it a B+.
