Review of Stephen King's World of Horror (1986) by Tim S — 04 Sep 2012

This is a neat little horror documentary that my girlfriend found on an old VHS tape from the late eighties or early nineties. Stephen King's World of Horror is essentially a get-to-know segment on Stephen King himself with clips from movies based on his work, most notably from Night Shift.

I can't say that I found it to be a great unseen gem but it did have some nice stuff mixed in there. The interview footage with King is really the only thing worth watching, unless you just want to see clips from the movies.

There isn't much of the interview footage but there's some good stuff in there. I wouldn't call it a wasted effort, but it was more or less a way to make the interviews more entertaining, but I'd rather see more interview footage myself.
