JP Allen's sneaky screenplay takes a thriller-slash-whodunit setup and spins a yarn that plays with audience perceptions and expectations in this self-reflexive film that culminates in a tour de force monologue by Leo the message of which unfortunately reduces to sophomoric irony and navel-gazing pretension.
