Entertaining about 1/3 of the way in after the corny and sappy beginning. This movie mixes a psychotic ruthless killer movie with very sappy after-school-special feeling crap. Watch the trailer and you'll know what I am saying.
No where near as atmospheric or creepy as the first Stepfather film (which is one of the best horror films ever), and does not reach the entertainment value. Somehow I was still not able to peel myself away from watching it though.
