Review of Stepfather 2 (1989) by Steve W — 26 Nov 2009
Stepfather 2 isn't quite the film its predecesor was, largly because there's no longer any mystery and very little real tension after (1) the conclusion of the first and (2) because the narrative now opperates from O'Quinn's perspective.
That said, its still very enjoyable. O'Quinn's performance, the element that lifted the first film, still clicks and its just silly - short enough to work.
