Review of Step Up (2006) by Lisa Michelle A — 31 Dec 2009
A really good film. I loved Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan. They had such great on-screen chemistry which of course most fans will know that it also continued off-screen too, as now they are happily married in real life. There wasn't as many good dances in this one as there was the second one, but the ones I did like where in the club and the final one at the end on the stage. Both Channing and Jenna proved that they could really dance.
My Actor/Actress review:
Channing Tatum - an amazing dancer and actor.
Jenna Dewan - funny in certain scenes and could dance as good as Channing.
Alyson Stoner - almost didn't recognize her in this film as she was more tomboyish to what she normally plays, but she was really good.
Drew Sidora - I loved it when she sang as she was really good.
Rachel Griffiths - was really different seeing her in a role other than Sarah Walker in Brothers & Sisters, as that's what i'm used to her now as more, tho I do love her the most in Muriel's Wedding.
