Review of Step Up 2: The Streets (2008) by Ah S — 09 Jun 2010
Quite an impressive sequel to the first 'Step Up' film that focuses a lot more on 'street' and 'hip-hop' dancing much more than the first one did. The chemistry between Andie and Chase is nowhere near as believable as Tyler & Nora from the first film, but the characters are still very likeable.
Good storyline that flows well but the final scenes should have been better than they were. Overall the whole 'underdogs' theme worked well for the film and fans of the first will be pleased :).
