Review of Step Brothers (2008) by Daniel T — 08 Jan 2014
This is definitely a movie I would never watch in theaters but after coming home from work one evening, it happened to be on TV and before I knew it I got caught up in the film. It was actually a pretty decent film. And I'm saying that because I am not a big Will Ferrell fan. But I was extremely tired from work, stressed out, and this was a fun way to relax and get some entertainment.
It was a pretty cool concept with the two parents dating and of course each parent brought one of their children into the relationship. And the idea of two 40-year-old man still living at home with their parents was pretty great.
I can't say it was a movie that totally made me laugh all the time, but there were some pretty funny moments and just overall seem it made me smile. I would never buy the movie but maybe in the future I would rewatch it if I was bored.
One thing I did notice is the TV version changed a lot of the dialogue so I figure if I watch it at home, it is going to have a lot more language than what I heard.
