Review of Step Brothers (2008) by Kyle H — 31 Jul 2014
At first, I didn't think much of this film. It took me a while to appreciate its mixture of dry satire and grotesque slapstick. It does a great job of humiliating people who never grow up, as well as people who do grow up, get rich, and become so conceited that their loved ones can no longer tolerate them.
This film also raises the question of whether the latter even resembles what it means to grow up.
