It's not a particularly magnificent or inspiring documentary; it is simply extremely beautiful and interesting. It's a very interesting history of extreme skiing and very well shot. It's obviously amazing, but lacks the punch of a film like Everest for me.
This doesn't necessarily inspire me to want to ski like those portrayed in the film (of course it would be fun), while Everest did make me want to mountaineer. I would definitely recommend it on Blu-Ray to anyone.
