Review of Steel Trap (2007) by Devon W — 03 Jul 2008
What's wrong with Dimension Extreme? They started off so strong but, just like Lions Gate, have started to spew out these really terrible little movies... the only difference is it took Dimension only a couple months to ruin their name with campy unique horrors, whereas Lions Gate took about a year.
A bunch of partygoers get invited to a 'special' new years party just a couple floors below their current party venue. They all go, realize it's a bogus trap, then start dying in boring and unimaginative ways with a 'dash of saw' a 'table spoon of bad acting' and a 'recommended serving of wine to go with all the cheese'.
If I knew the ending was going to be as silly as it was, perhaps the whole viewing experience could've been changed knowing that it's just a really goofy camp flick instead of attempting to take it seriously.
