Review of Steel Trap (2007) by Ethan Y — 30 Dec 2008

A well made, if not necessarily good, slasher flick. While you may not care about the characters, they're at least interestingly written with their own discernible characteristics and motives, which elevates the film above the usual teenage slasher fare.

After a point, the twist is pretty easy to see coming, but is handled in a way that makes sense and is mostly believable. Overall, it's not groundbreaking by any stretch of the imagination, but it's interesting and worth a watch if you're a fan of the genre.
