Review of Steel Magnolias (2012) by Sanity Assassin ! — 07 Dec 2008

Julia roberts was in a scene where I thought she could act! it's pretty amazing. she was having some sort of diabetic fit and I thought to myself... wow, this is the first time i've ever seen julia roberts actually do anything apart from smile and look pretty.

I knew it was gonna be a chick flick... but I watched it for one of my fav actresses... none other than shirley maclaine. the fact dolly parton was in it was just a perk. I was impressed with sally field who i've also seen in ER playing a psycho mother.

it was better than I expected it to be. I don't doubt that it's an iconic film for alot of women and I can understand why too!
