Review of Steel Magnolias (2012) by Lindsey C — 26 Jan 2010

Although not necessarily my type of movie, I can't deny how funny it is. There's a purity to it, the simple sounds of the country life, people who live comfortably and enjoy their lives. In all honesty, this is probably one of the most realistic movies I've seen.

I particularly love Tom Skerrit in this movie as almost every single scene with him cracked me up. This is also one of the best written movies there is. It's also sad and endearing. Overall, a picture of simple country life.
