The Movie is the best late 80's/ early 90's start (1989/1990) of it genre and type as it is truly funny & upsetting it a magical treat of friendship & Family & me & my Mum love this film (we Both cry & laugh at the wonderful Movie, based on a True Story), This Movie is pure genius for a Drama, Romance, Comedy film in the late 80's/ early 90's and has the best Super star cast for a Movie like his they all did a fanatics job in the movie especial Dolly Parton, Sally Field (As one of her funniest & emotionally performance ever), Tom Skerritt, Daryl Hannah, Julia Roberts, Olympia Dukakis, Dylan McDermott, Kevin J. O'Connor and Sam Shepard were truly amazing in the movie as one of the tagline in the movie says "The Funniest movie that will make you Cry" which is soo true.

The Movie has great style & theme to the elements and the Storyline/Plot and Music is brilliant in this timeless Movie as it is a chick flick, but can be for anyone really. The Movie has really great Southern accents by the actors & great directing by Herbert Ross, The Movie is heart warming, sweet, upsetting & hilarious at time with its great fabulous family & friend moments in this beautiful Movie. The Movie ending is the most spectacles ending ever for its type & genre with powerful acting & a bold story this Movie is unique in every way, me & the Whole love this Movie (as it all makes us laughs & cries).
