Love love love this movie! I used to live 30 minutes from where it was filmed. I cry everytime I see it, I laugh and I always quote it word for word. I even went as far as to have my wedding almost identical to shelbys'.
BTW I have the book all about the making, plot, setting, actors, and what not... anywho it was not set in a small town outside neworleans.
