Drifter/Soldier in post-apocalyptic future assists a struggling farming widow and community against a gang of oppressors. Odd choice for Swayze, whose career was soaring from DIRTY DANCING, and this film flopped at the box office but deserved better with Swayze lifting the film to a higher level.
Real life wife Lisa Niemi appears opposite Swayze.
