Review of Steel (1997) by Jacob F — 15 Oct 2012

Steel is a fine example of how not to make a superheroe movie. More like a fine example of how to make an unintentionally parody of a superhero movie. The script is crap, the special effects cheaper and the music is.

..ok, sorta. But Shaq's bad acting and constant flaws makes it fun to watch, you can make fun of absolutely EVERYTHING here, from the stupid dialogue to the inconsistent development of the characters.

Also you gotta give credit to Annabeth Gish as Susan Sparks "Sparky", her acting is very clever and realistic unlike the rest of the cast, she's so in her role that not even her lame lines tore her down.

Steel is a movie that's so bad it's so good, give it a chance, you won't become a fan but you surely will have a fun hour and a half of pure stiffness and flaws.
