Review of Steamboy (2004) by Ryan G — 20 Feb 2008
Though I read a LOT of bad reviews about this movie, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I know the story is a bit underpar in comparison to Otomo's OTHER masterpiece AKIRA (pronounced AH-KEER-UH). But that aside, the visual effects in this movie are INCREDIBLE! The only thing I was VERY disappointed with is the English dub.
..ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! but that aside, this was a pretty good movie definitely worth a watch, though it may not be for everyone.
