Surprisingly flat old school anime adventure, which promises all manner of steampunk action a-go-go but only manages to deliver some wafer thin characters rolling from one repetitive setpiece to the next.
I'm never a fan of non-original voice acting in animation, and the all-star cast for the US version really don't help matters - it just doesn't work, Hollywood. Stop it already!
