Review of Stealing Beauty (2007) by Stella S — 11 Dec 2007

A gorgeous film with a lovely lead actress. Everything about his film was amazing to me, and hearing things about "proofs of love" show up in another of Bertolucci's films made me giddy. The movie was so good to me not just because Liv Tyler looked rediculously beauiful in it, but because her character Lucy's main reason for going to italy(connectign with he rdead mother and finding her true father) didn't soak the film in melodrama.

It was just airy and beautiful and deep in the Bertolucci, youthful way. I adored it. I still adore it.
