A very sensual film, not only because of Liv Tyler's character, but also because of the shots, the landscapes, the lines, the scenes. the story is about the purity of virginity, and all the effects it brings to the person, and the others around: lust, inspiration, jealousies, compassion, etc.
In general, a great masterpiece by Bertollucci.
