Review of Stealing Beauty (1996) by Cody P — 09 Mar 2010

This is one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen. Set in Tuscany, the backdrop to the movie is simply gorgeous and will make you want to take a vacation! Based around a young woman who takes a pilgramage there and stays with friends and relatives, trying to find out who exactly her mother and father were.

All the while she gets caught up in desire and lust with the local boys, and writes little poems along the way to help cleanse her thoughts. Beautiful in its simplicity with great acting.
