Oh man I can just see Stallone trying to direct Travolta is this first class turkey - 'yo John you need more mumbling & snarling'. I've been subjecting myself to some pretty awful sequels lately but Staying Alive might be the worst direct sequel I've ever seen.
The original Saturday Night Fever is a classic w/ its mix of grit & polyester style but Staying Alive straight out blows & is only good for unintentional laughs. It's a damn shame what has become of Tony Manero.
