All I can say for Stay is that it's too bad there is no Oscar category for "Best Scene Transition." There is so much meticulous artistry in Marc Forster's presentation that, though it stretched my patience, I was inclined to like it.
Alas, while its sporadically intriguing, its conclusion does not inspire interest in the preceding madness. Imagine if "Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" were a novel instead of a short story and you'll have a picture of Stay.
