Review of Stay (2005) by Kat K — 14 Dec 2009
Mostly for the cast: Ewan McGregor, Naomi Watts, Ryan Gosling, Kate Burton. There's something missing from the plot or narrative that takes away from the film - I can't quite put my fingers on it.
Intimate, dramatic pace, possibly with a surrealist element- ora of film is like being in the middle of a bad dream (kind of like David Lynch but not really). Acting was good. I would suggest renting alone when you have free time, and possibly pick up another DVD in case this doesn't work for you.
Could hate it, could love it, could say "eh." I leave it up to the community - 5.5/10.
