As a fan of Lorne Michaels and his work on SNL, I was surprisingly, yet bitterly disappointed by "Staten Island Summer." Lacking any sort of class, the jokes here are crude without humor and poorly constructed.
Colin Jost's writing is nearly as bad as his appearances on the Weekend Update desk. It's movies like this that make everyone hate the coming-of-age genre.
