I am Irish and my family is from NY and I LOVE this movie, and Sean Penn is outstanding in his role, Ed Harris is a favorite actor of mine and he is awsome and cruel as the Irish mob boss, John Turturo is very cool, and my favorite actor in film is so awesome in this movie, that Gary Oldman should get a special award for how cool he is in this movie as Jack 'Jackie' Flannery, the wild and violent little brother and enforcer to Ed Harris's mob boss character! This movie is a great mob movie and anyone who likes a rough, hard story, with a great and hard core ending, this one is for you! I highly recomend this one to everyone!!
