Before Leon, before Fifth Element, or True Romance, Gary Oldman played a mental psycho bad guy scene stealer in this awesome gangster movie!
Sean Penn is great as the anti-hero, and Ed Harris as the evil gang boss. One thing I loved when watching this film recently, is the sheer amount of drinking and smoking that goes on, you just wouldn't get away with it anymore! I Love It!!!! The movie is gritty and raw and shows a toroughly depressing look at New York's Hell's Kitchen, and the struggle for power within. Watch it!
