Unbelievable.............Zach Braff, if he ever wants to quit SCRUBS, has got a definite future in filmmaking. The guy knows how to stage a scene, write a script, make a film feel [b]alive[/b]. Me and my special lady saw this last night, and it actually took some convincing. She's annoyed by SCRUBS, and she ain't a fan of the Braff-man. She ended up loving the film more than I did. Just goes to show you that you can't, uh, I hate that stupid book-by-its-cover cliche. Just goes to show you that you can't count out the Braff-man.
While GARDEN STATE is near brilliant, STATE AND MAIN is yet another film from David Mamet's outworn assembly line of "films" and other bullshit. I really, honestly think that Mamet will be hurt by me if I ever encounter him in the future. So, Mr. Mamet, if I may quote Andy Garcia from OCEAN'S 11......
"Run and hide, asshole.".
And if I may quote myself.........
"I really dislike David Mamet and his bullshit needs to be served to him in a bowl with some milk.".
