College, 80's, England, James McAvoy... how can you not love this???? I personally ADORED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! James McAvoy should just stop whatever he is doing and come looking for me, swear his love to me and marry me! He is one of the few men on earth who can be cute and sexy at the same time! hahaha Seriously, the guy can do NO WRONG! I have not seen 1 film of him that sucks! His choice on movies is clever and perfect! This movie is so cool! It was funny, witty, romantic, everything that I love in a film! It really manages to portray the angst a freshman in college has to go through.
The acting was very good, especially McAvoy, who proves here how versatile he can be by doing a character I had not yet seen by him. Rebecca Hall was very good too, her wit just filled the whole screen.
The whole quizz show was perfect! The plot of this story might not seem very different from others, but it is developed so intelligently that it is like something you've never seen before! And the characters were just so real, like you were watching your friends and yourself through them.
Besides, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing!! Best 80's songs EVER!! I really just wanna go and marry this movie forever!!
