Incredibly predictable. Director Tom Vaughn literally attempted to emulate John Hughes, but with less wit or finesse. So obsessed with throwing every Cure/Smiths/New Order/Psychedelic Furs track from 83-87 that he didn't pay attention to the thematics.
Unfortunately this film doesn't ultimately know what it is and jumbles around. The cast is great and it's a decent movie, but if you are going to rip off John Hughes, you better do it damn well.
