Review of Starter for 10 (2006) by Bill C — 08 Jan 2011
This story makes up in authenticity what it lacks in its predicable story. The majority of the characters are very well fleshed out. The writer and director are friends and both went to University in the mid 80's. The music of the Cure used in the movie was my favorite at the time and still brings back memories.
The thing this film has working against it is the thing I enjoyed the most which was what I liked about it the most whether Bristol or Madison Wisconsin they capture the unique feel of that particular time at university.
Highly recommended if you went to school in the mid 80's or like the period.
