Review of Starsky & Hutch (2004) by Ralf W — 01 Oct 2012
I had not seen the original series of which this is loosely based so I can't really comment on how it fairs as an adaptation. As far as comedies go this one is a tad forgettable, but I did enjoy it and there were some pretty ridiculous moments I found to be hilarious.
Perhaps not as funny as most comedies of that time, but funny nonetheless. If you like Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson teaming up, then you should enjoy this, if you don't, well don't bother. Will Ferrell and Jason Bateman were great, but the standout for me was Vince Vaughn as the villain.
This, along with Dodgeball, made me take notice of him.
