The opening sequence is great, but holy shit does this movie lose steam quickly. We're suddenly transported from the utterly awesome BOOM BOOM POW POW vibe of the original to a duo of plotlines that no one is going to give a shit about, unless you like really heavy-handed political satire, or religious satire so heavy-handed that the hand was filled with a neutron star.
