Review of Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation (2004) by Andre Z — 13 Oct 2011
I am not sure what level to review this one on. I have seen a few amateur short movies on youtube and compared to those this one is not that bad. It is funny at times when it doesn't try to be and the effects look budget and the acting is average - the usual stuff.
I think the problem is that it carries the name of a squeal to an icon that was the first Starship Troopers movie was and that is the problem. Imagine if Aliens 2 or Terminator 2 were the same quality as a youtube amateur film.
You would be disgruntled wouldn't you.
