Review of Starred Up (2014) by Adam H — 09 Feb 2015
Starred Up is one of if not THE film of the year. I got into seeing it merely by accident, but what a wonderful accident it was.
Jack O'Connell stands out as a class A actor, and is supported by a myriad of professionals that elevate themselves as much as they elevate him.
It may have its grounds on a very old story between estranged father and son, but it does in a very hard-hitting and satisfying way.
I can not stress enough how good of a movie this is. Do not let it slip on your movies-to-watch list.
