Review of Starman (1984) by Sam M — 05 Feb 2017
I really enjoyed this John Carpenter film which I hadn't seen in years. Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen star, with Bridges as an alien that takes the form of Allen's deceased husband whose death she hasn't gotten over.
It is at times amusing, heartfelt, and always entertaining. Charles Martin Smith is also a standout in a supporting role. Well worth watching, and in my opinion it holds-up really well for a film over 30 years old.
