Practically, one of two well-anticipated rewards ('Continuum' is next), to SG-1 fans, but it doesn't considerably tread any new ground to make it stand out. Adequately, serves its audience at best, story-wise.
And is marginally more epic in scope with its effects, but little else. 'Still enough to tide me over 'til 'Continuum' happens.
