Review of Stargate: Continuum (2008) by Jonathan S — 30 Jul 2008
The second straight-to-DVD Stargate-SG1 movie is an excellent romp for fans of the lamentedly cancelled series. A boilerplate time travel plot yields unexpected pleasures, not the least of which is actual north-of-the-Arctic-Circle footage of our heroes by and in an American nuclear submarine.
Cool! After the space-time continuum rewrites itself thanks to the cunning plan of wittiest-Goa'uld-System-Lord-ever Ba'al, only SG-1 can save Earth -- and galactic -- history. But what happens when the people of the new timeline don't want to be saved?
