Review of Stargate: Continuum (2008) by Trevor G — 04 Aug 2008
I like this one even more than ark of truth just because Alternate time lines (time travel stories in general) seem awesome but when its Stargate its special. Martin Wood's Directing so its another reason for me to like this movie cuz he's just so damn good at it, not to mention that Richard Dean Anderson returns as Captain Jack O'Neill for this movie too.
This movie has some of the best surprises of any of the SG films or the series! I was shocked & "ohh & Ahhed" at every turn. Since Ark of Truth Finished the Ori Arc & tied up loose ends to the series, this movie could really stand alone & be fun for someone who has never really seen Stargate SG-1. You have System Lords, Jack, Time Travel, Action, And Consequences that effect the SG1 universe even leaving it open for a Direct sequel to Continuum's Story.
This is my Favorite of the SG1 Films and Probably my favorite story from Any SG1 has had, just a cool damn Movie!
If theres a 3rd Film Hope its Director is Peter Deluise Or martin Wood Again I just love those guys, it would be cool to see Chris Judge Write a script for it like "Sacrifices", "Birthright" & "The Changling" or just a short story like he did for The SG1 story "Warrior" but he's busy getting his own show Rage of Angels off the ground so doubt that for now...
