Review of Stargate: Continuum (2008) by Josh P — 27 Dec 2008
Just when you think Stargate has done time travel stories to death. I admit my initial reaction to hearing that the second direct-to-dvd SG-1 adventure would be centered around time travel/broken timeline was that I had seen this before a few times. I have to say though that I was very pleasantly surprised by a movie that improved on the groundwork laid by the Ark of Truth.
Especially good is Michael Shanks in his increasingly bitter sardonic self stuck in the alternate timeline. Add in Richard Dean Anderson and the final wrap up of that nagging Goa'uld loose end Ba'al and you have a nicely done movie that was well worth my time and money.
