Review of Stargate (1994) by Joey F — 22 Mar 2009
Entertaining sci-fi movie with great ties to 'real life' ancient mysteries. Combines action, fantasy and 'mythology' into a solid 2 hour movie, later to inspire a long running tv show, so they must have been doing something right.
It's too bad they didn't do more of these movies as the quality kept up well, making sure that substance was a stronger ingredient than action.
