Review of Stargate (1994) by David S — 26 Nov 2009
Even when revisiting this Emmerich film, something I always thought with a rose tinted view was actually okay, isn't. The direction is so protracted and boring for the first hour you're barely awake when the plot begins half way through.
The script is shoddy, so simple I wonder if it required any thought at all. However, the some of the design is nice, and it does have some imaginative science fiction ideas, however rubbish the execution is.
