Add my name to the list of ardent fans of this movie - unfortunately, I still can't get into the Richard Dean Anderson series, specifically because it lacks the visual budget of this made-for-summer-blockbuster.
As a teenager, this ranked up there with the best of the Independence Day/Die Hard action blockbusters - giant space pyramids, Egyptian dieties gone bad, and most of all, Mili Avital *rawr*. 5/5 Still packs a visual punch, and who knows maybe I'll give the show a try som--.
..nahhhh. This is all the Stargate you need, eff that Atlantis s*^$%.
